Ronald McDonald House Charities Foundation (RMHC)
originated in the US in 1974 as a collaboration between leading American football players, the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, and Ray Kroc, McDonald’s Corporation.
The charity primarily engages in the provision of accommodations and amenities to the families of children who are warded in hospitals. Currently, RMHC is a non profit corporation.
Large organizations such as McDonald’s, Southwest Airlines and La-Z-Boy have chosen RMHC as their “Charity of Choice”.
